Birth Doula Services
My services as a birth doula include:
- Free initial interview
- 2 prenatal visits
- Assistance in writing your birth preference/"birth plan"
- Available 24 hours a day for phone support and consultation
- On call for your birth, often joining you at home
- Continuous personal support for Mom and her partner during birth and delivery
- Immediate postpartum assistance, including initiating breastfeeding support / latch
- Access to an extensive lending library of birth related books and videos
- Helping to create a calm, peaceful and supportive birthing environment for Mom and partner
- Reiki energy manipulation
- Labor techniques to include, but are not limited to: position changes, relaxation, massage, birth ball, meditation
- 1 Postpartum visit to reflect on your birth and to help you connect with additional resources following delivery
- Help the Mom to feel connected to her birth experience following delivery
- Photography during pregnancy, labor, and birth, as desired
- Provide important references for professional support
- Birth Story (detailed recall of events)
Labor Doula Training
Become a CAPPA certified professional labor assistant. A two-day training class where you learn to support laboring families. Contact Rena' for fees and training dates. Consider hosting a training in your area! Your training fees will be waived in exchange for marketing to your local area, securing a training facility and advertising.

Childbirth Education
There are many options for Childbirth preparation (Hypnobirthing, Lamaze and Bradley to name a few) this class will cover in detail - birth place options, interventions at great lengths, relaxation, building a birth plan, newborn procedures, informed consent, breastfeeding and more...). Childbirth Consultation
If you would like to be more prepared for birth and learn in greater details the events during childbirth in a hospital setting, consider consulting with a trained professional. Here you will learn what questions to ask, what to expect and how to have the birth you invisioned by making sound choices. With additional emphasis on Vaccinations and Circumcision. Cost is $50/per hour.
